Ted Turnour brings over four decades of leadership experience spanning military service, entrepreneurship and sustainable product innovation. A former Army Officer with the Australian Defence Force, Ted later built and scaled several businesses with a focus on modular design, advanced materials and emerging technologies.


As Founder of Syngensis, Ted leads product innovation and IP development, applying circular economy principles to infrastructure challenges. His work has resulted in the creation of patented systems that repurpose recycled plastics and tires into high-performance building and road materials. His passion for sustainable design and housing affordability helped catalyze the formation of Syngensis, where he continues to drive technical vision and commercial strategy.


Based in Brisbane, Ted holds a BA from the University of Tasmania and remains a lifelong learner, dedicated to applying practical solutions that deliver real-world impact.

Skip Muller is a seasoned technology strategist and former U.S. Navy officer with over 25 years of international experience in cybersecurity, government consulting and business development. After serving as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard the USS Decatur and USS John C. Stennis, Skip transitioned into the private sector, where he led large-scale IT and cybersecurity programs across North America, Europe and South America for Fortune 500 firms and allied government agencies.


He later co-founded a cybersecurity consulting and technology development firm, advising senior leaders on strategic technology procurement and digital security. Most recently, he served as an advisor to a senior U.S. government official overseeing a $12B+ portfolio focused on economic development, energy and water programs.


At Syngensis, Skip leads strategic partnerships and government affairs, helping to position climate-resilient innovations like Polypave for adoption across global markets. His ability to bridge the public and private sectors has made him a key driver of Syngensis’ cross-border growth strategy.

Based in the United States, Skip is also an active supporter of humanitarian and veteran-focused organizations, with ongoing work in mine clearance, heritage preservation, and community reintegration.

Ric Odom is an experienced executive and governance advisor with a background spanning military leadership, nonprofit management and public sector strategy. A former officer in the New Zealand Army, Ric held command, intelligence and training roles across multiple regions, including Papua New Guinea and the Former Yugoslavia, where he developed deep expertise in strategic planning, operational leadership and interagency coordination.


Following his military service, Ric transitioned to the not-for-profit and public sectors, serving in senior executive and CEO roles. He has led national organizations through complex governance, strategic planning, contract negotiations and performance improvement initiatives. His ability to navigate government relations, from regional officials to central ministries, has made him a trusted liaison between community organizations and policy-makers.


At Syngensis, Ric supports global engagement strategies and public sector partnerships, with a focus on aligning climate-resilient infrastructure solutions with the needs of governments and communities.


Ric holds a Master’s Degree in Defence Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Management Studies and is a graduate of the Australian Army Command and Staff College. 


He is based near Nelson, New Zealand, and actively contributes to multiple boards and community initiatives at both local and national levels.

Based in the United States, Vat brings deep expertise in business operations, project execution, and strategic process design to her role at Syngensis. Her ability to implement scalable systems, resolve organizational challenges, and strengthen margins has positioned her as a key contributor to the company’s infrastructure initiatives.

In addition to her advisory work, 


Vat is a seasoned real estate investor and project manager with hands-on experience in residential property development. She also channels her creativity as an author and illustrator, contributing to values-based storytelling for youth.
